Elbow-sketti

2lbs Elbow noodles
2 jars (the glass ones) Ragu Chunky Tomato Garlic Onion
1 McCormick Thick and Zesty Spaghetti packet
1.5 lb hamburger meat
1 ez-foil lasagna pan (really deep)
1bag of Sargentos 6 Italian cheeses

Cook pasta according to directions of box.
While that's cooking brown hamburger meat, I usually add garlic and onion powder to it.
Drain the meat add sauce and packet. Simmer for about 10 minutes.
Drain pasta, combine the sauce and pasta.
Put in lasagna pan.
Top with cheese.
Bake for 20 minutes at 375.

This makes A WHOLE LOT! Enough that my family will be eating it for days. Would be an excellent dish to take to a potluck.

You're the Apple Dumplin of My Eye

MMMM... that's all I have to say about these.

2 granny smith apples, peeled cored and cut into 8ths. (16 pieces all together)

2 cans of crescent rolls
1 can Mountain Dew
2 sticks of butter and a little extra to put inside the dumplings... 2 more tblsps should be enough.
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 tsp vanilla
cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350
I take an apple slice and a small sliver of butter, less than a tsp. (put it where the core would be) put it at the big end of the triangle and roll it up like you would normally.
Put them in a lightly greased 9 x13 baking dish.
Then in microwave melt 2 sticks of butter, while it's still hot add sugar, stir it up, but don't stir it too much, add vanilla and cinnamon to taste, Stir it again... but not too much. It will be really thick and lumpy... that's what you want.
Pour that over the dumplings.
Then only around the edges pour about 3/4 of the can of Mnt. Dew.
Bake uncovered for 35-40 minutes. Until the tops are golden brown.

Now all you need is a BIG glass of ICE COLD milk
